Honeymoons are too often an afterthought to the planning of the wedding itself, when, as far as memories go, they are of equal, if not greater, importance. It's a time that you'll never forget for the rest of your life, so think carefully about honeymoon ideas and honeymoon locations.

First decide what your objectives are for the time you'll be away and what you absolutely can't do without. Where do you want to go? Do you want to relax or be active? What are your priorities? As soon as your hotel is arranged, starting researching and booking restaurant seats, tickets, tours, and various other activities that require advance reservations, particularly so should you be going on your honeymoon during peak season.
