They only have to be their usual adorably innocent selves. However, each flower girl's inherent beauty can also be enhanced with the right accessories. Here are a few tips on doing this.

1. Hair decorations: Flowing, colorful ribbons in the flower girl's hair only add to her cuteness. Her hair can be up, down, or even half and half ribbons can be attached and run through any hairstyle chosen. The ribbons do need to match or coordinate with the flower girl dress and the rest of the bridal party as well. A flower girl with feet that hurt is likely to fidget through the ceremony and not be very happy during the reception either.

4. Other accessories: There are many other types of accessories for flower girls; from gloves to baskets. When choosing any other accessories remember to coordinate with the flower girl dress and bridal party. Flowers should match those of the bride if possible; a basket could be lined with excess fabric from the bridal gown to make it a memorable keepsake, while gloves, jackets and handbags should be comfortable and coordinating.
