Just because you need to cut back on the spending, planning a wedding on a budget can still be easy. All wedding decor is made up of similar things, you might have chosen a specific theme, but the individual decor items will remain the same , they will just fit into your theme ideas. Also, a budget doesn't mean cheap or not memorable.

Should you hire the services of a wedding planner, then you must instruct them to shop at regular stores for your decor items and not pay attention to specialized wedding stores. Besides the whole point of a 'good' planner is that they should be imaginative and can shop in this manner. This will ensure a uniqueness about your wedding, that simply cannot be achieved by shopping where everyone else does.

We all know that on special occasions i.e. Valentine's Day! All the flowers and cards go up in price. Much the same as the difference in prices from purchasing the same item from a regular store to a specialized wedding store. Then, the money saved can be put to use on other areas of the wedding arrangements. Maybe the - Honeymoon! Deluxe room instead of the superior room that you had reserved.

At the reception one of the major decor items is the centerpiece that you choose for each guest table. I want to suggest candles. Battery operated for ease of use and safety. The candles create a lovely atmosphere, they can be large individual or grouped together in a display.Don't forget the candle holders also help to create the effect you are looking for.

In the summer months most weddings are catered outside so another approach is required. If there is a pool or a pond within the grounds, floating wax candles or boat lanterns can look stunning. If there is no water it's not to difficult to have a temporary pond built for the reception. The walkways around the garden of your reception can be lit by torches, another stunning look.

Could you make some of the decorations yourself? Maybe you know of people that do this for a living. They would be only to happy to make your wedding decor items. A lot cheaper than buying from stores.

If you are careful and use your imagination it will be the unique wedding that you have dreamed of. Planning a wedding can be easy with some imagination and thought.
